Here is my brief review of the Chicago Botanic Garden: It was a perfect afternoon, no bugs, not too hot, and the sun was shining. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, I can’t even imagine the man hours that it takes to keep it looking as beautiful as it does. My two favorite places were the Japanese Garden and the English Walled Garden. One note: it is free admission to the garden but parking is around $20 for non members. If you are bringing your bicycle, you can get creative and park for free off the park, and then bike in. If you are coming in on I94, make sure you take a look at the directions on their website before leaving, it can be a bit confusing to get there.
